1. Stephen Borowski
Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

As the CEO, Stephen Borowski provides strategic direction, oversees the implementation of our programs. With over three decades of experience running his own business, Steve brings a passion for making a positive difference in the lives of others.

Being a father of three special needs boys has been one of the most challenging yet rewarding experiences of my life. These boys have taught me the true meaning of unconditional love and have shown me how to appreciate every single moment in life. Despite the challenges that come with raising special needs children, I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world.

Every day with my sons is a new adventure. From their contagious laughter to their endless curiosity, they remind me to slow down and appreciate the little things in life. They have shown me that true happiness doesn't come from material possessions, but rather from the love and connections we share with others.

2. Dottie Whitney
Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
As our CFO, Dottie Whitney oversees all financial aspects of The Whitney Foundation Inc. She ensures the responsible allocation of funds, financial transparency, and accountability. Dottie has twelve years’ experience working in the banking industry, as well as ten years working in the education field.

My mom, Frieda Whitney, was an incredible woman who dedicated her life to caring for others. Her selflessness and unwavering compassion were evident in everything she did, from taking care of her family to reaching out to those in need in her community. The foundation named after her is a testament to her enduring legacy, as it continues to touch the lives of countless individuals in need. Growing up, my mom taught me the value of putting others before myself and the power of empathy. She showed me that kindness and understanding can make a world of difference, and that it is our responsibility to use our privilege and resources to help those who are less fortunate. Thanks to her guidance, I have carried these lessons with me throughout my life, passing them on to my own children and striving to make a positive impact in the world, just like she did. My mom's love and dedication will always be the guiding force behind everything I do, and her memory will forever live on through the foundation that bears her name.
